12th Annual Weehawken Golf Tournament Fundraising for First Aid Squad will be on August 17th

The Township of Weehawken is ramping up for the 12th Annual Benefit Golf Outing. Weehawken is in dire need of a new ambulance. With the ever growing costs of medical expenses, the demand for new equipment is growing with it. The Volunteer First Aid Squad is averaging over 2,600 calls a year and the current ambulances and equipment are not up to task. Tax payer money alone will not be able to cover the expenses and that’s when the Golf Outing comes into play. This Golf Tournament is a way for anyone who wants to help to be able to give back to the community. The Fundraiser is also a lot more than just golf, there will be many other activities to enjoy will raising funds for the Volunteers. The Event will be held on August 17th at 11:30 a.m. at the Black Bear Golf Course in Franklin NJ. Entry Fees are $175 for a single golfer and $700 for a group of four. The Squad is hoping that everyone will come out to show their support.
