35-year-old Bronx man arrested driving BAC twice over legal limit

Ricardo Puig (35) was arrested for driving with a blood alcohol content over twice the legal limit, Port Authority Police says.

At approximately 1: 45 am on 4/13/2017 Port Authority police on patrol on the GWB saw a 2011 Infinity sedan driven by the suspect failing to maintain its lane across the span. The Port Authority police pulled the suspect over. The suspect had a noticeable smell of alcoholic beverage about him his speech was slurred and Officers noted his eyes were red and watery. 

The suspect got out of his car and was unsteady on his feet and  failed a  breathalyzer  test at 2x the limit. His auto was impounded. 

The suspect was charged with DWI, Careless Driving, Unsafe lane change.
