Attention Bayonne Residents: Movie at the Library and Concert in the Park on August 2

The Bayonne Public Library will be showing Trolls in its summer film series on August 2, at 1:00 p.m. in the O’Connor Gallery on the second floor of the library located at 31st Street and Avenue C. Trolls is rated PG.

The films intended primarily for children. Young children must be accompanied by an adult.  No children will be admitted for the adult selections.

The following films will be shown Trolls, August 2; Boss Baby, August 9; and Sing, August 16.

In addition, Summer Sounds by the Bay concert will take place on Wednesday, August 2, at 7:00 p.m., weather permitting. That concert will feature The Carole King Tribute: Home Again.  The band’s song list spans the entire repertoire of Carole King. Home Again’s musicians include: Deb DeLucca (Carole King vocals and piano); Keith Droz (drums and vox); Bobby Sproviero (bass and vox); Rich Weiner (acoustic and electric guitar); John McDonough (keyboard and vox); and Stantawn Kendrick (saxophone and flute).

The concert will be held at the amphitheater on the lower level of DiDomenico-16th Street Park, which is located between Avenue A and Newark Bay.
