Bayonne Begins Park Renovations

Bayonne City Officials gathered at Edward Clark Park on May 10th of 2016, to have a groundbreaking ceremony to announce the Park’s upcoming renovations.

Renovations will begin on Monday and for safety reasons the park will remain closed for about two months until the renovations are complete. Clark Park will have new basketball courts, a new play area with a merry-go-round, and a spray water area.

This is one of many renovations that the Mayor has in store for the city of Bayonne. Funding has been acquired through county grants and contributions from a local developer.

These parks are a huge part of the community, with many generations of local families having strong ties to them. The community agrees that Clark Park is ready for renovation and looks forward to upgrading their beloved park.
