Bayonne woman arrested for aggravated arson after argument with boyfriend

Heidi B Delacruz (40) of Bayonne has been arrested and charged with aggravated arson according to Bayonne Police.

Allegedly, the defendant was having an argument with her boyfriend when he retreated behind a locked door. The defendant attempted to set a fire to the door by setting a paper towel on fire.

Police said that another resident of the building extinguished the  small fire with a glass of water.

The defendant was remanded to the Hudson County Jail.
