Disabled Car Driver Found with 200 Decks of Suspected Heroin


32-year-old Ana Camacho of Newark has been caught with over 200 decks of suspected heroin in the area of Newark airport according to Port Authority Police.

At about 10 p.m. on 8/3/2017 Port Authority police responded to a report of a disabled car on Parking Lot Road and Entrance Bridge inside Newark airport.  Upon arrival they noticed the suspect in a 1994 Mercury Capri parked in the active roadway, creating a hazard and blocking traffic.

Port Authority Police, while interviewing the driver, noticed a glassine bag of suspected heroin in plain view at the top of the suspect’s blouse.  When asked about the bag, the suspect began to attempt to hide it.  The glassine bag was retrieved by PA police.

The bag contained stamped wax folds (decks) of suspected heroin.  The suspect was placed under arrest.

Ms Camacho was charged with Manufacturing, Distributing or Dispensing CDS, Possession of CDS
