A 49-year-old Hoboken man is arrested Saturday afternoon for unlawful possession
of a weapon, for brandishing what appeared to be a gun at the Big Banner Supermarket.

Hoboken Police were called to the store on 4th Jackson Street to find Diego Castellanos on the ground with the gun.

According to several witnesses, they held him and removed the weapon until police arrived.

It was later determined the handgun was actually a BB gun and he did not use it against
anyone.

A warrant complaint was generated and Castellanos was remanded to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
