Hoboken man busted for defiant trespass and Xanax

A Hoboken man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after detectives observed him in the area of the Hoboken Housing Authority, police said.

Nathaniel Peterson, 49, was charged with defiant trespassing, possession of CDS, pass with intent to distribute CDS, pass of CDS within 1,000 feet of a school, possession with intent to distribute within 500 feet of public housing, loitering to distribute CDS and theft of property lost or mislaid.

They said he did not live on the property and had previously warned him about trespassing.

Peterson was in possession of three Xanax pills, along with a Hoboken Housing access card that did not belong to him.

He was remanded to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
