Jersey City man arrested in Hoboken after pointing BB gun towards another person

Mina Tadros, a 25-year-old man from Jersey City has been arrested after pointing a gun towards another male and being witnessed by a Hoboken Detective.
According to a Press Release from Hoboken PD, “On friday July 8th, Officers responded to the WaIgreens parking lot on a report of a male with a handgun. Officers, along with Detectives arrive and found 5 males in the lot. Detective Roman witnessed defendant point a handgun towards another male who was with the group inside the parking lot. Officers and Detectives on scene ordered the defendant to place the weapon on the ground. He immediately complied and placed it at his feet. The weapon was seized and secured by Detectives and rendered safe. It was later determined to be a loaded Taurus B.B. Gun along with an attached magazine. The defendant was handcuffed and placed under arrest. All parties inside the lot were found to be friends.” the release said.

Time of Arrest: 9:59 PM

Charges: Unlawful Possession of a Handgun
Bail: After processing the defendant he was released and given a court appearance.
NOTE***A BB Gun is considered a firearm and anyone who owns one needs to have purchaser ID card and permit to carry.
