LGBTQ Pride Month declared at Union City Orlando Vigil



Union City Residents and the LGBTQ Community gathered on June 21st of 2016 in Union City’s International Park, where a Vigil was held in memory of Orlando. The vigil was touching, with a theme of love conquering hate, overcoming gun violence, and moving America forward. Union City Officials announced that June would become LGBTQ pride month in Union City and raised the LGBTQ flag in honor of the LGBTQ community as a whole. White balloons were also released in memory of the victims of the tragedy in Orlando.
