(BAYONNE, NJ) – Mayor Jimmy Davis along with State Senator Sandra Cunningham and members of the Bayonne City Council, will join Assemblyman Nicholas Chiaravalloti on Saturday, February 27th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 pm for the grand opening of his Bayonne District office. Chiaravalloti represents New Jersey’s 31st Legislative District in the State Assembly along with Assemblywoman Angela McKnight.
“The purpose of the legislative office is to work for the residents of Bayonne and Jersey City,” said Chiaravalloti. “Any member of the public who needs assistance from the State of New Jersey is welcome. Our goal is to try to be a helpful resource for the residents.”
New Jersey’s 31st Legislative District encompasses all of Bayonne and portions of Jersey City. The new Bayonne district office, located at 836 Broadway, will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. On Thursday it will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
“Nicholas and I believe in open, accessible government at all levels. The opening of this office is an example of that shared goal as a reality,” commented Mayor Davis. “All Bayonne residents should be comforted by the fact that they can interact with their State and local government completely at their own convenience.”
