Newark Man Arrested for Owing over $88,000 in Tolls and Fees


Police stationed at GWB arrested Anthony Cotugno (60) of Newark NJ after his vehicle drove through the EZ Pass Lane without an EZ Pass device.

When the suspect was pulled over he was found to have a revoked EZ Pass account and was responsible  for 1510 previous ez-pass violations.

Over $40k were incurred in tolls and fees at Port Authority crossings and another 47k were incurred in tolls and fees at the NJ Turnpike.

Mr. Cotugno was arrested and charged with Theft of Service, Toll Evasion and Traffic Violation.
