Jersey City police arrested a 31-year-old North Carolina man after he pointed a gun at a 45-year-old man during a dispute at a Harrison Avenue motorcycle club and discharged one round into the courtyard just before 5 a.m. Saturday.
There were no injuries and police recovered the one spent shell casing. The gun was also placed inside a safe at the motorcycle club and was turned over to police.
The actor, Ronald Stevens, also returned to the Harrison Avenue motorcycle club an hour later and pointed a firearm at two women sitting in a vehicle and who had been present at the time of the earlier incident, before fleeing the scene.
Stevens, who was arrested around 4:40 p.m. Saturday on Woodlawn Avenue, was charged with aggravated assault knowingly points firearm, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (handgun), possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes and unlawful possession of a weapon.
