Port Authority Police Arrest Pennsylvania Driver With Loaded Pistol in Jersey City

image imagePort Authority police saw the suspect driving a Mitsubishi SUV in the Holland Tunnel toll plaza. A uniformed Port Authority police officer noticed an ammo box in plain view on the vehicle’s back seat as the suspect’s Mitsubishi passed him. When stopped the suspect asked the officer “what are the gun laws in New Jersey?” The Officer interviewed the suspect who volunteered there was a Beretta 9 mm pistol in the glove box of the auto. The Berretta was loaded. 2 additional magazines for the loaded pistol were also found in the glove box. Drug paraphernalia was also found in the auto. Port Authority police arrested the suspect.

Arrested: Mr. Corey Schrier-24, Bensalem, PA

Charges: Possession of a Weapon, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
