Secaucus Mother Charged for Leaving 2-year-old child in Car unattended for 20 minutes


On Feb. 01, at 320pm in the area of 400 Millcreek Dr. police responded on a report of a child left unattended in a locked parked vehicle. Police located the mother in Marshall’s and she was arrested for Neglect of Child for leaving her 2 year old son in the car without adult supervision for approximately 20 minutes. She was identified as 32yo Female from Secaucus NJ, Yirong Feng. Bail was set at $10,000.00 with 10% option. Bail was posted. The child was found asleep and in good health.

    I don’t understand what is so difficult I used to work at one of these stores, while there is no traffic light there is a crosswalk and a sign that lets drivers know they have to stop for pedestrians that have to cross the intersection…. I mean there’s a sign and you have to know this stuff when deciding to become a driver…. So there is no reason to leave your kid in your car -.-
