Bayonne Residents CURRENTLY Positive – 542*

  • The number above reflects only the Bayonne residents that are CURRENTLY COVID-19 Positive.  We have 123 Bayonne residents that are RECOVERED.  Recovered patients, according to the CDC, no longer have to isolate or be reported. Today is the first day since we have started reporting, that we have seen a DROP in current cases in our city.

Bayonne Medical Center Testing:  The BMC conducts Drive-Up testing at Veterans Stadium each weekday.  BMC has opened the testing to patients of all Bayonne doctors.  In order to be tested at this site, your doctor must schedule you for an appointment.  If your doctor says he/she isn’t aware of the procedure, advise your doctor to call the BMC for instructions.  DO NOT SHOW UP AT THIS SITE WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT. Please do not call the City Hall hotlines/OEM for assistance with appointments, only your physician can schedule you for an appointment at this site.  Veterans Stadium will be closed to the public during the daily testing (10am-12pm).  Again, only your doctor can schedule you for an appointment.  If your doctor is unaware, tell him/her to call the BMC for instructions.

Hudson County Testing: The Hudson County Regional Testing Site in Secaucus is open to all residents in Hudson County.  This free site does not require a prescription or doctor referral.  You must, however, be pre-screened as only SYMPTOMATIC people are being tested. If you are approved for testing you will be given an appointment. 201-388-1097/646-862-1161
