A disturbing crime has been announced by Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez. Earlier today, Monday, May 1, members of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit arrested 19-year old, West New Yorker Marcos Quexordon, on charges relating to a sex crime committed on a 12-year-old girl.
Prosecutor Suarez says the crime took place in a West New York apartment last Saturday, April 29, 2023. The juvenile victim is known to the defendant.
As a result of this incident, Quexordon is charged with sexual assault by contact, a crime of the second degree, as well as endangering the welfare of a child, a crime of the third degree. The suspect was arrested at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in Secaucus and transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility in Kearny pending his first court appearance.
Suarez says the State has filed a Motion for Detention, which is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, May 4, 2023.
Suarez credited the Special Victims Unit and West New York Police Department with the investigation and arrest.

The charges against Quexordon are merely accusations and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
