A 33-year-old male has been arrested for punching a 60-year-old male knocking him down and then leaving the scene.
According to Bayonne Police, Luis Rivera from Bayonne assaulted his victim due to a misunderstanding over a lost item. The victim was treated at Bayonne Medical Center for serious injuries.
Mr. Rivera was charged with Aggravated Assault and Endangering an injured victim.
He was taken to Hudson County Jail and was given a $50,000 cash bail.
