35-year-old male struck by train at Secaucus Station early this morning

A 35-year-old man was struck by a train around 1.30am this morning at the Secaucus Junction Station.

According to NJ Transit police, the male who is a Newark resident, was walking on the tracks when he was struck by a North Jersey Coastline Train coming from NY and heading to Long Branch.

The male was taken to Jersey City Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
