Update: the north bergen car show has been postponed due to bad weather! the new date is set for October 8th
NORTH BERGEN, NJ – The town of North Bergen is gearing up for its 7th Annual Classic Car & Bike Show, scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 8th, 2023. The event, which will be held at 7900 Bergenline Avenue, promises a day filled with classic vehicles, food vendors, and entertainment.
The show is open to cars, trucks, and motorcycles from all years. Participants can register their vehicles on the day of the show for a fee of $20. Spectators are welcome to attend free of charge. The event will run from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a trophy ceremony commencing at 3:30 pm. Organizers have noted that any arrivals after 1:00 pm will not be eligible for judging.
A variety of food vendors will be present at the venue, ensuring attendees have a range of culinary options to choose from. The event will also feature raffles and a 50/50 draw.
Vehicles will be judged based on cleanliness and appearance, with three trophies awarded per class. The classes include various decades from pre-1950s to 2023, as well as specific categories for trucks, modified trucks, Corvettes, Mustangs, imports, and motorcycles. A special highlight this year is the “Best of Show Import” category.
Special trophies will be awarded for “Mayor’s Choice” and “Commissioners’ Choice,” with ten additional “Judges’ Choice” awards up for grabs.
The event is proudly sponsored by Mayor Nick Sacco and Commissioners Anthony Vainieri, Hugo Cabrera, Allen Pascual, and Claudia Rodriguez.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the 2023 New Jersey Special Olympics Fundraiser. Attendees are kindly reminded to respect the privately-owned vehicles on display and refrain from bringing bicycles or scooters into the car show area.
