With the warmer weather upon us, and the easing of restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic slowly allowing people across New Jersey to resume some sort of normalcy, Hoboken Police Chief Ken Ferrante and Mayor Ravi Bhalla are issuing a reminder to residents concerning the use of fireworks.
On Friday night Mayor Bhalla issued the following statement:
“Police Chief Ken Ferrante and I have heard complaints regarding fireworks going off at various spots in the City, during late evening and early morning hours. The Hoboken Police Department is prepared to issue summonses to those individuals who are setting off fireworks and disturbing the peace when residents are asleep. Please call the Hoboken Police Department at 201-420-2100 if you experience these disturbances at night.”
