The Astor Community Garden and Neighborhood Association in Jersey City is holding a food drive and give-away on Saturday, May 29 beginning at 12-noon in the Lincoln High School parking lot. Participants are asked to enter via Park Street.
Fresh boxes of meats, vegetables, fruits, starches and water will be available for the community in need. This event is organized and sponsored by the BITE Program. It operates twice weekly on Saturdays and Mondays.
