The Borough of East Newark will rededicate its newly renovated Recreation Center at 44 Central Avenue to former Councilman Charles F. Tighe. The ceremony will take place at 11 am on Saturday, March 4th.
Funding for the project was approved by the Hudson County Board of Commissioners with the support of Hudson County Executive Thomas DeGise through the Hudson County Open Space, Recreation and Historic Preservation Trust Fund.
The ceremony, which is open to the public, will feature exhibit tables with information about various services provided by Hudson County.
Refreshments and snacks will be available. There will also be raffles while supplies last.
