After not taking place for several years due to COVID and poor weather, Weehawken Day returned to the waterfront on Saturday to the delight of everyone.
Weehawken Day featured rides and games for kids, a pumpkin picking patch, face painting, food vendors and many of the township’s services and departments. It was a day for residents to come together and just have fun.

There was bingo, a music stage, a performance by the Weehawken High School Marching Band and all sorts of bouncy houses. It was the first time the township was able to hold the event in three years since cancellations due to COVID and poor weather.

More than 5,000 Weehawken residents attended the event, which was held on the waterfront in the township’s recreation complex.
