Earlier today during a ceremony at West New York Town Hall, two SLEO Class II officers were sworn in as full-time members of the town’s Police Department.
The officers graduating to full time status are 24-year old, Edwin Ramirez, a graduate of Cliffside Park High School, who is a West New York resident of Dominican decent, and 20-year old, Jayson Diaz, who graduated from Ridgefield Park Junior Senior high School, who is also a Dominican American.
In a statement from the West New York Police Department, leadership said, “Their hard work, dedication and commitment to serving our community have truly paid off. Congratulations and welcome aboard!”
