The North Bergen Board of Education has announced that registration for its free, full-day Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 programs will open on Monday, May 4th. Registration will take place at the Lincoln Annex School, located at 1206 63rd Street, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. First offered last year and expanding this year with additional seats for Pre-K 3 students, these free full-day programs provide families with a high-quality early childhood education option, along with affordable after-care services that offer significant savings compared to private daycare.
The Pre-K program offers flexible monthly pricing for after-care designed to support working parents:

When compared to private daycare costs in the area, which often average approximately $1,500 per month per child, the district’s program represents substantial financial savings while maintaining a strong, structured early learning environment. In addition, the district offers several opportunities to further reduce costs for families, including a 20% discount for those who qualify for free and reduced lunch, as well as sibling discounts, military discounts, district employee discounts, and available subsidies.
