A new ER will better serve Bayonne

Carepoint has recently renovated and reopened their emergency room at the Bayonne Medical Center. The $1 million dollar renovation will allow the hospital to see thousand more patients a year, as well as treat them in a more efficient manor. According to BMC President Mark Spektor, the new renovation will allow for the Emergency Department to treat 10,000 more patients each year, in addition to the nearly 30,000 patients the ER currently sees yearly. The added beds and updated technology will help make this possible. The ER staff is enthusiastic about the renovations and being able to provide the best possible care to patients.
