Hundreds of people took the streets in Union City in addition to local and State Politicians to demand fair treatment for workers. Hudson County TV spoke to Union City Mayor Brian Stack, US Representative Albio Sires , State Senate President Steve Sweeney and Milly Silva Executive Vice President of Local SEIU 1199 about the issues.
Well if they treat you guys so bad why would you want to work for them? No matter how much they pay…extortionists
A lot of these people cannot afford to just quit their job in hopes of finding another one quick enough that it wouldn’t after their lives at home. Not to mention, Danny, everyone deserves to be treated with respect.
If they can’t be out of work then why are they striking ? And I agree EVERYONE should be treated with respect like the people who were hire to cover for the people who went on strike and abandoned the patients at the nursing home the patient at the nursing home and the people who run the nursing home…I get it I’ve been on this earth long enough to know there are people who rather take advantage of people’s situation to get money instead of bettering their skill or education and it’s fun how these people think it’s easy running a business but yet never open up their own business but I don’t mind I kind of like it that way less competition in the real job market because while they waste time striking I’m furthering my skill and education to be a viable asset in the job market
