Bayonne Board of Education Receives Donation of Backpacks Filled With School Supplies

A second round of backpack donations for Bayonne children in need has been received by the Bayonne Board of Education.  A total of 300 backpacks were received from J. Fletcher Creamer & Son and Veolia Water. 

The backpacks are filled with notebooks, pencils, and crayons for the start of the school year.  They will be distributed to needy children throughout the city.

Veolia Water is an international firm that manages Bayonne’s water-sewer utility. Veolia specializes in the management of water quality, energy, and waste recycling.  J. Fletcher Creamer & Son is a New Jersey-based construction company that specializes in infrastructure work, including utility services, pipeline rehabilitation, and emergency construction, among other activities.
