COVID-19 UPDATE 4/24/2020
Mayor Davis has directed OEM to keep residents informed on all the latest information
related to this health emergency.
Mayor Davis has advised us of Bayonne’s 44th Coronavirus-related fatality, a 54yr old
male. Mayor Davis expresses his sympathy to the family of this gentleman, on behalf of all of Bayonne.
Bayonne Residents CURRENTLY Positive – 599*
The number above reflects only the Bayonne residents that are CURRENTLY
COVID-19 Positive.  We have 162 Bayonne residents that are RECOVERED.
Recovered patients, according to the CDC, no longer have to isolate or be
reported.
PLASMA/ANTIBODIES:
The BMC is actively seeking RECOVERED COVID-19 people to become donors to help find the cure. Please call 201-274-4644 or email covidplasmabayonne@carepointhealth.org

EARTH DAY: Mayor Davis has asked that all Bayonne residents to step outside
tomorrow (Saturday 4/25) and clean the area in front of your homes and businesses.
Please clean your sidewalks and curblines. The Mayor also asks to help any older or
vulnerable neighbor. This effort is being done, in lieu of our annual Earth Day
celebration, so that we can help beautify our city, while staying close to home.
