The 2026 Bayonne Hometown Fair will take place on Saturday, June 6. The fair will be running from 21st Street to 26th Street along Broadway. On Saturday, June 6, the fair’s hours will be from 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The fair will feature food, rides, vendors, and musical entertainment. All bounce houses and mechanical rides will be free this year, thanks to the generosity of the Bayonne Urban Enterprise Zone (UEZ).
The fair will be presented by the Bayonne Heritage Association in collaboration with the City of Bayonne, and Mayor Robert Kubert. The Bayonne Heritage Association was established in 2024 as a non-profit organization with the goal of sponsoring fairs, parades, and other special community events.
Mayor Kubert said, “The Bayonne Heritage Association, the UEZ, and all of the participating groups, businesses, performers, and volunteers have been getting ready to provide the community with a great fair.” He continued, “I would like to encourage everyone to drop by the fair and enjoy being on Broadway on Saturday, June 6.”
The main stage for the fair will be set up on East 23rd Street by Church Lane. A second performance space, the community stage, will be set up between 21st Street and 22nd Street on Broadway. A variety of musicians and other entertainers will perform at both stages.
Here is the schedule for the main stage on East 23rd Street: 12:00 noon-12:30 p.m. – Opening Ceremony/ The Artists Avenue; 12:30-1:00 p.m. – The Artists Avenue; 1:30-2:30 a.m. – Doc Watson; 3:00-4:00 p.m. – Nicky Fabbz Band; 4:30-5:30 p.m. – 4th Street; 5:30-6:30 p.m. – Vox Sol Duo; and 6:30-8:00 p.m. – She Said No.
Here is the schedule for the community stage on Broadway between 21st Street and 22nd Street: 12:00 noon-12:30 p.m. – Opening with D.J. Pastiche; 12:30-1:00 p.m. – Jillian Ariel; 1:30-3:00 p.m. – Magic Show; 3:00-3:30 p.m. – Bitheru; 4:00-4:30 p.m. – Cordell Matthais; 5:00-5:30 p.m. – Bayonne Steppers; 6:00-7:00 p.m. – Chosen Generation; and 7:00-8:00 p.m. – Impact Ministries.
Eighty-nine vendors and organizations will take part in the fair, with tables along Broadway from 21st Street to 25th Street. The tables will feature food, merchandise, information about community organizations, and giveaways of various promotional items.
The Knights of Columbus will operate a beer garden at the fair. It will be located on East 23rd Street in front of the main performance stage.
The Bayonne Heritage Association would like to thank the event’s numerous sponsors for their support. The generosity of the sponsors makes the fair possible.
There is no rain date for the fair. In the event of rain, every effort will be made to continue or resume the fair on the scheduled day, as circumstances may permit.
The Hudson-Bergen Light Rail station closest to the fair is located at 22nd Street and Avenue E. Mayor Kubert said, “I would like to recommend that our friends from neighboring communities take the Light Rail to 22nd Street to enjoy the 2026 Bayonne Hometown Fair.”
No Parking signs will be posted as needed around the Broadway corridor to create space for the fair from 21st Street to 26th Street. On Saturday, June 6, that portion of Broadway will be closed to traffic from 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
