JERSEY CITY – A Bayonne man was rushed to the hospital after he was struck by a vehicle on John F. Kennedy Blvd.
On February 24th, at around 11:13 p.m. police responded to JFK Blvd south on report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle, told police that he was “driving south on Kennedy Blvd when a pedestrian wearing dark clothing appeared out of nowhere,” according to police reports. The driver attempted to swerve and avoid the man but was unsuccessful.
The pedestrian, was bleeding from the head and was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center.
Another pedestrian was recently struck in Jersey City as well.
On February 20th, a Cliffside Park woman lost control of her vehicle when her boot heel got stuck between the floor and gas pedal, causing her to jump the curb and hit a pedestrian on the sidewalk. The man was taken to Jersey City Medical Center on complaint of right leg pain.
