Clarification on Bayonne’s Broadway Bus Operations
Bayonne’s key officials and the Broadway Bus Company have come together to address and dispel the recent false rumors circulating online about the Broadway Bus. Mayor Jimmy Davis stated, “Contrary to online speculations, the Broadway Bus is not ceasing its operations. It’s crucial to note that the Broadway Bus and the A and C Bus lines in Jersey City are distinct entities.”
City Council President Gary LaPelusa emphasized the significance of the Broadway Bus to the community, mentioning its role in facilitating transportation to the Broadway shopping district, workplaces, and educational institutions. He expressed his satisfaction with the bus service’s ongoing operations in Bayonne.
State Assemblyman Will Sampson highlighted the importance of local bus services to Bayonne’s history and assured residents of his continued support for local transit in Trenton.
Broadway Bus President, Emil Massa, expressed his concern over the misinformation being spread and clarified, “Our commitment to serving the Bayonne community remains unwavering. We are here to stay and will continue to provide our services now and in the foreseeable future.”
