Bayonne Police Report Multiple Arrests in the Start of October

Bayonne, NJ – The Bayonne Police Department has reported a series of arrests over the past two days, highlighting their ongoing efforts to combat crime in the city.

On the morning of October 1st, at approximately 8:17 a.m., officers apprehended Steven A. Rodriguez, 33, from Wade Street, Jersey City, in the vicinity of 32nd Street and Broadway. Rodriguez is now facing charges for possession of controlled dangerous substances (CDS) and possession of narcotic paraphernalia.

Later that evening, siblings Evan T. Trimblett, 20, and Gabrielle Trimblett, 22, both residents of East 22nd Street, Bayonne, were taken into custody from Stop&Shop. The duo is accused of shoplifting merchandise valued at $418.56. Both have been charged with shoplifting.

The following day, October 2nd, saw the arrest of three juveniles near the 7-Eleven store located at 765 Broadway. The police were alerted to the scene around 7:22 p.m. following reports of several juveniles threatening to rob the store. The store employee identified the group as repeat shoplifters. On this particular occasion, they not only threatened to shoplift but also intimidated the employee. Juvenile 3 reportedly took a fighting stance, attempting to engage the employee physically.

Upon the police’s arrival, five juveniles fitting the description provided were detained. Two of them, Juvenile 1 and Juvenile 2, were found in possession of imitation firearms and were charged accordingly. Juvenile 3 was taken into custody on charges of harassment.
