It is a place where kids love to bury their heads in reading material and now the Bayonne Public Library is holding a book sale.

According to Mayor Jimmy Davis, this Friday, August 18 is the day — from 10am to 4pm.

Most books, CDs, DVDs and VHS tapes will sell for only $1.00.

Children’s and young adult books, along with a special selection of paperbacks will be available for only 50 cents.

The library will benefit from the sale, with all proceeds going to them.

Head on over to the West 31st Street side of the building, where there will be an entrance to the book sale next to the driveway. Look for special signage, which will mention the sale’s location.

The driveway is located a short distance west of Avenue C.

Everyone will find something of interest. The library invites you to stop by and browse.
