North Hudson Regional Fire and Rescue’s busy day continued Monday afternoon with a report of a body in the water in West New York.
According to Joe Pentangelo, spokesman for the Port Authority police — about 3:10 pm the body of a man believed to be about 30-years-old was recovered in the water near 22 Port Imperial.
“The medical examiner was notified and the investigation continues,” Pentangelo says.
West New York Police was on scene, along with the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office.
At 6pm Monday night, the Prosecutor’s Office alerted Hudson TV that the PANYNJ was now investigating.
