(UNION CITY, NJ) – The Brian P. Stack Civic Association announces its 36th Annual Children’s Christmas Show & Toy Giveaway this Saturday, December 17’h in Union City and Sunday, December 18th in Jersey City and Hoboken.
The local event is an annual tradition in its 36th year and provides thousands of toys for children throughout Hudson County. “For many years now, it does not feel like Christmas without the Christmas Show and Toy Giveaway,” said State Senator and Mayor Brian P. Stack. “It’s difficult for families who are living paycheck to paycheck, especially during the holidays, and it is my hope that the event provides an opportunity to for families to come and enjoy the holidays with a show and a new toy for the children. The joy that this event brings the children is priceless and the best Christmas present I can ever receive.”
Thousands of toys are purchased through State Senator and Mayor Brian P. Stack’s civic association for the giveaway. Admission is free and the event will have music and characters for the children.
On Saturday, December 17th the event will take place at the following locations:
9 AM to 12 PM – Washington School (3905 New York Avenue, Union City)
12 PM to 3 PM – Edison School (507 West Street, Union City)
3 PM to 6 PM – Robert Waters School (2800 Summit Avenue, Union City).
On Sunday, December 18th the event will take place at the following locations:
10 AM to 12 PM – PS 28 Elementary School (167 Hancock Avenue, Jersey City)
12:30 PM to 1:30 PM – Hudson Gardens Community Room (27-29 Palisade Avenue,
2 PM to 3 PM- Holland Gardens Community Room (241 16th Street, Jersey City)
4 PM to 6 PM – Monroe Gardens Community Room (221 Jackson Street, Hoboken)
