 Civilian offices at City Hall:  Closed Monday, December 24; Tuesday, December 25; Monday, December 31; and Tuesday, January 1.

Garbage and Recycling: No garbage pick-ups will take place on Broadway on Christmas Day, December 25, or New Year’s Day, January 1. A special Broadway-only garbage collection WILL take place on Wednesday, December 26, AND Wednesday, January 2.  Except on Broadway, regular garbage schedules will remain in effect throughout the holiday season.

Scrap metal recycling, which normally takes place on Tuesdays, will take place on Monday, December 24, and Monday, December 31.  To schedule a scrap metal pick-up, please call 201-858-6099. With the exception of scrap metal recycling, regular recycling schedules will remain in effect throughout the holiday season.

Street-sweeping and alternate side parking: Suspended Monday, December 24; Tuesday, December 25; Monday, December 31; and Tuesday, January 1.  Sweeping and alternate side parking WILL be in effect and enforced on the other days of the week that they are normally in effect.

Parking permit zone enforcement: Suspended on Monday, December 24; Tuesday, December 25; Monday, December 31; and Tuesday, January 1. Parking permit zones WILL be enforced on the other days of the week that they are normally in effect.

On-street parking meters: Enforcement suspended on Monday, December 24; Tuesday, December 25; Monday, December 31; and Tuesday, January 1. On-street parking meters WILL be enforced the other days of the week that they are normally in effect.

Free parking in Parking Utility lots: Will be in effect for non-commercial vehicles for the month of December and on Tuesday, January 1.  Enforcement of pay stations at Parking Utility lots for non-commercial vehicles will resume on Wednesday, January 2.
