The City of Hoboken and the Hoboken Police Department are proud to sponsor a bicycle registration program allowing residents to register their bicycles into a national database.
The City of Hoboken is providing free registrations to residents (regularly priced at $10.00 per 10 year registration) In the event your bicycle is stolen, you simply notify nationalbikeregistry.com or call 1-800-848-BIKE. This gives law enforcement the ability to contact you in the event your bicycle is recovered anywhere in the country. The registration program will continue during the 2016 Spring Arts and Music Festival on Sunday, June 12, 2016.
The Hoboken Police Department will have a registration table set up on Washington Street near 7th Street. Registrants will be provided a tamper-proof sticker with an official registration number to attach to their bicycle/s. Residents are asked to bring their bicycle serial number(s), descriptive information (Frame size, color, make, etc.) and purchase receipt Of Available), at the time of registration.
Visit Nationalbikeregistry.com or call 1800-848-BIKE for full details. The national bike registry is an independent service provider and not affiliated with the City of Hoboken or the Hoboken Police Department.
