The Division of Recreation is proud to announce a three week extension for the reception of applications in regards to our 2016 Summer Employment Program. The new and final deadline is Friday, May 27, 2016. Applications are available in Commissioner Cosmo A. Cirillo`s Office at Town Hall, 428 60th Street, Suite 6. Monday through Friday 9AM to 5PM. All applicants must be at least fifteen years of age and currently reside in the Town of West New York.
Applicants must also present a valid New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission Driver License or valid New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission Non-Driver ID and a valid Social Security Card. We will make photocopies for our records. Please visit www.NJMVC.gov for information regarding the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission. The two main purposes for this new policy are to ensure that Town residents are given first priority for employment, as well as, prevent document fraud.
Working Papers must be readily available for all High School students who apply. The documents will only be requested if the applicant is chosen for employment.
