Despite critism of Mayor Fulop, Jersey City BOE stands firm on limiting public comment. Residents at the Jersey City board of education meeting Thursday spoke out about the recent resolution passed to limit public speaking, as well as the tape recording of such comments by the public. Board President Sangeeta Ranande and board attorney Ramone Rivera stood strong that the changes are within the confines of the law.

  1. I for one am surprise to see.fulop take this stand. I have known Fulop for some time and we have had many differences, but I am happy to see him take a stand on the limitation of public being seen and not heard.
    I command him on that.
