Early Morning Shooting in Jersey City Results in Four Injuries

In the early hours of a recent Sunday morning, a shooting incident took place in Jersey City. The event transpired shortly before 2:30 a.m., with police arriving at the scene near the intersection of Martin Luther King Drive and Orient Avenue after receiving reports of gunshots. One individual with gunshot wounds was found at the location. Subsequently, the Jersey City Medical Center informed the police that four more victims with gunshot injuries had been admitted to their emergency room, having been transported there by a private vehicle. Initial information indicates that a white vehicle was involved, from which shots were fired from its sunroof. The vehicle left the scene post the incident, and the individuals involved have not been apprehended. The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office is aware of the situation, and as of the latest update, there have been no reported fatalities. Investigations by Jersey City authorities are ongoing.
