Jersey City police are investigating a shooting incident in which a 23-year-old East Orange man was shot in the right knee cap around 10:30 a.m. Monday.
There was nothing of evidentiary value at the scene at Oak Street and MLK Drive and the victim was extremely uncooperative with police and would not tell officers where he was shot or provide any information.
He was transported to the Jersey City Medical Center-Barnabas Health for treatment of the non life-threatening injury. The investigation is ongoing.
