FBI visits post office and Housing Authority in West New York. Housing Authority Executive Director Bob DiVincent confirmed with HCTV that he spoke with the FBI on Thursday. Some believe the investigation centers around dirty politics associated with the board of education election.
Update 1/30/2014: Freeholder Jose Munoz clarified that at the time this story ran, he could not confirm or deny an investigation, only that he was under the impression an investigation had begun.

Counselor, Judge D’Amico’s conduct today was blatantly discreditable! Of course he knew who I was well before court. (Judge’s routinely review the names before trials for just this reason, no?) & as well as on sight, as I recognized him!
I was completely taken aback that during this entire time he made no mention of this extremely serious conflict; to recuse himself, until I finally cud “restrain” myself no further & (politely!) called him to task on it! (The proverbial, the emperor has no clothes moment!) Rn’t U (former) Judge (Kathleen) Walrod (of Secaucus municipal court’s) husband???—–(harrumph!!!) That’s neither here nor there!—-I beg to differ!
I was the thorn in the side of his partner/wife in Secaucus. I filed complaints w/then Assignment Judge Gallipoli & Municipal Court’s Judge Carpenter; Also the NJSCACJC & took a very active/vocal role in the successful “departure” of Judge (Emeritus) Walrod from Secaucus Municipal Court.
Now I have his misconduct on record too! Yes, I will be requesting a transcript of today’s gruff, hostile & disingenuous remonstrations that this is; “neither here nor there” & then, importuning on U! (my public defender) to ratify that decision when U have no knowledge of these events, what so ever.
I believe that like a dog w/a bone! he was so blinded by the chance that he cud now inflict some measure of retribution/retaliation/revenge upon me! that he lost all sight of correct jurisprudence.
He shud join his wife in retiring from the bench!
