Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez has announced that the Hudson County Prosecutor Office and the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance of Jersey City and Vicinity, are hosting two free workshops for the residents of Hudson County on Thursday, Sept. 15, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The first workshop, “How to Expunge your Criminal Record,” will be presented by the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office and Northeast New Jersey Legal Services. The workshop will explain the process of expungement and the necessary steps an individual must take in order to have their criminal record expunged. Lawyers will be available to offer free legal assistance.

The second workshop, “Interaction with Law Enforcement,” will be presented by the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE.) A representative from NOBLE will address the relationship between police and the community.

The workshops will be held at the Rev. Dr. Rudolph Daniels Sr. Community Center located at 500 Martin Luther King Drive in Jersey City. Both workshops are free and all residents are invited to attend. Light refreshments will be served.
