Freeholders Authorized $184k Contract with Global Tuberculosis for Specialized Services at Hudson Chest Clinic

Jersey City-The Hudson County Board of Freeholders authorized the renewal $181,976 contract with Rutgers Global Tuberculosis Institute-New Jersey Medical School for the provision of specialized medical services at the Hudson County Chest Clinic.

The grant will be utilized to support the Hudson County Chest Clinic, physician services, nurses’ services, mantoux tuberculin testing, x-ray services, dispensing of anti-TB medications and related services.

The grant term is from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020.

Chairman Anthony Vainieri and the Board of Chosen Freeholders are dedicated to meeting the needs of the local community by providing healthcare to county residents who cannot afford the cost.  These services are especially essential to residents who are sick and need instant medical care.
