Cities across the nation are celebrating our country’s independence today, including the Town of Guttenberg in Hudson County. With a population of over 11,604 residents and only four blocks wide, this town is small in size but huge on community involvement.
Volunteers, town officials and the community at large gathered on 69th street for an afternoon of fun that consisted of music, food, a bounce house for the children, and lots of water and ice cream to cool off amid high temperatures.
The Town of Guttenberg will continue to bring residents together with their summer concert series. It begins on July 10 and will take place on 68th street and Park Avenue at 7pm. For more information, visit www.guttenbergnj.org
