On Saturday, June 15 the Town of Guttenberg is partnering with one of the area’s leading personal training providers, Five Point Zero Fitness, to offer all residents, local businesses, and media outlets a free outdoor pop-up event in Waterfront Park featuring various fitness classes and a live DJ to help everyone get in shape. Free gifts and valuable prizes will be given out to participants. This fitness experience is designed to engage, inspire, and challenge people of all ages and fitness levels.
“Getting Healthy on the Waterfront with Five Point Zero Fitness Pop-Up Event” will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 15 in the park at 7200 River Road. Michael McCook and Anel Pla of Five Point Zero Fitness will lead participants through exercises and activities systematically designed to improve health and fitness. With their regimen of classes focusing on the five pillars of fitness – strength, endurance, mobility, body composition, lifestyle – Five Point Zero Fitness have extensive experience providing functional training in group and individual sessions to help with everything from weight loss to achieving peak athletic prowess.
Participants of all skill levels are welcome to join the free event and should bring their own mats. Athletic wear and sneakers are encouraged. Free waters, snacks, goodies, and giveaways will be provided. Local wellness vendors will be on site. Fitness testing and body fat assessments will be provided by Fitnescity (https://www.fitnescity.com/). Based right in Guttenberg, Five Point Zero Fitness are looking to give back to their local community and to help encourage people along the path to a better life through nutrition and fitness. Mayor Wayne Zitt and the Town Council are happy to invite Five Point Zero Fitness to share their valuable skills and training at beautiful Waterfront Park, located alongside the Hudson River with an unparalleled view of midtown Manhattan.

Registration tables with volunteers will be ready to assist as needed, beginning at 9 a.m. Free shuttle buses will be available on the day of the event to bring residents from throughout town to the park and home again.
