Each Halloween the staff at Union City’s Colin Powell School comes up with a different theme to entertain the students. This year “A Whole New World” made for a fabulous parade and celebration.
700 kindergarten through fifth grade students dressed up as everything imaginable. The administrative staff at the school got right into the holiday spirit. Aladdin, a genie and a unique contraption to surprise the students.
After parading around the school to the delight of their parents, the students re-entered the school and saw three dances performed by some of their fellow students.
Everyone had a tremendous time. Now let’s see what the staff at the school can come up with for next year’s theme.
