Element Hotel Harrison

HARRISON – A Harrison resident who drunkenly passed out in a hotel elevated Monday with drugs in his wallet asked police if they can “forget they found that”, according to police reports.

On March 16th at around 4:00 a.m. officials responded to Element Hotel on report of a disruptive individual in the lobby of the hotel. They met with a woman employee who said a man attempted to go behind the desk and sit on her lap. The man then walked into the elevator area and fell asleep face inside the elevator where police attempted to wake him up.

The woman informed the officers that the man was not a guest of the hotel. The man told officials to look inside his wallet for his identification and room key. His friend was staying at the hotel but the man told police he did not want to get his friend involved. While looking for the hotel room key, police saw a pink baggie with a white powdery substance inside. The man said to police, “could we just forget that you found that?”

Stephen Woodman, 33, of Point Pleasant was placed under arrest and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Police discovered that Woodman had an outstanding warrant for $500 out of Annandale. He is scheduled to appear in court on March 30th.
